WHAT IS TEDx?
TEDx is a local, independently organised version of the global TED conferences. It’s an event where we bring people together to share short, powerful talks and performances that spread “ideas worth spreading.” We choose our own speakers, theme, and format while being under the branch of the TED brand. The goal is to create a community experience that inspires learning, connection, and action through thought-provoking talks and innovative ideas.
NEW BEGINNINGS - 2026 EVENT THEME
A beginning is a chance to start fresh. It allows the chance for us to imagine, to create, and to reshape the future. From personal journeys to global challenges, “New Beginnings” invites us to reflect on the ways that we spark growth and innovation. As our school embraces our founding year, Reddam House North Shore itself is embodying a new beginning - a beginning that has just begun to share its identity and traditions well into the future of our school community.
At TEDxReddam House North Shore Youth, speakers will share bold ideas that explore what it means to start again - whether it’s confronting social issues, rethinking technology, embracing creativity, or building a more sustainable world. Together, we’ll celebrate the courage it takes to turn endings into opportunities and to transform challenges into possibilities.
As our school hosts its inaugural TEDxYouth, this event is more than just a showcase of talks - it is the beginning of a tradition. A tradition of curiosity, community, and conversation that inspires us all to think individually and act decisively. We're shaping an adventure to embrace individuality and prepare leaders for the world.
